The Whidbey Affordable Housing Fund supports nonprofit organizations working to develop more affordable housing options for individuals and families across Whidbey Island.
The Whidbey Community Foundation is also the fiscal sponsor for Whidbey Home-Raising, so that we can accept tax-deductible donations. The Affordable Housing Fund was initiated by Jade Craftsman Builders who has also helped with the home-raising by putting up the trusses and recruiting other contractors to help with the roof (read more here and here.)
