Huge appreciation to Island Ductless volunteers Wayne Carter, Max Gibson, and Jason Leavitt! Once the daylight basement was framed, they came and installed the lines for the mini-split. We also thank Island Ductless for their generous discount!

In order to install mini-split heating in the daylight basement, we needed to insulate it, which meant framing the walls. The hot water heater was set in place. Thank you to Kelly Webb for generously donating it! The ducts and vents were installed. Almost done with the punch list!

The railing was installed on the east deck… …after painting the east gable, the roof was installed… …as well as the gutters, with some fancy angling through the railing, And the front porch was completed, with door, railings, and trim!

Wade Wilcox, Earth Rhythms, did the trenching and grading. With thanks to Bob, Dave, George, Peter and Richard, the utility conduits, gutter drain lines, and drywell were installed! Water, electrical and fiber optic lines installed.

After a good winter break, the 2026 new year began with the home-raising crew finishing the siding! Big thanks to Steve, Peter, George, Hart, Blake, Bob, and Joe and Dave (not in photo).

Another milestone on the way to being accomplished, with the exterior almost completed before we took a well-deserved holiday break.
