We have completed the home-raising at Lot #10, and are now home-raising at Lot #15.

A non-profit, Whidbey Home-Raising, was started to coordinate the project logistics, and to receive donations and grants to reduce the cost of the construction. Whidbey Home-Raising board members are Gabbi Korrow, Karol White and Cary Peterson.
A social investor lent the funds to purchase the land and help build the house. at Lot #10 on Aug 1, 2024. The house was sold at cost, and below market on July 31, 2025.
Social investors, and the Whidbey Community Foundation, are helping to finance the home-raising at lot #15.
Together we are building below-market homes that will be permanently affordable. Everyone’s gifts of time, materials and money will continue giving for decades to come, for the generations that will live in these homes.
