The slab has been poured, and we’re ready to frame!
First, the foundation fill needed to be leveled and compacted, vapor barrier laid down, insulation installed, and rebar laid down. Thank you Richard, Peter, Scott, Russell, George and Joe!
Christian and his son dug out the holes for the deck pier blocks.
The big pump truck came for its last visit, and Steve poured the slab, making sure it was level, smoothing it out, and polishing it as it cured. The next day, he scored it, and we kept it cool by watering it and regularly testing the temperature.
It’s beautiful!
