Finish work continues!

Mini-split milestone!
Thank you Island Ductless Heat Pumps volunteers Gavin St. Onge and Robert Ryan for installing the ductless mini-splits, ERVs (Energy Recovery Ventilators) and the compressor! First the main floor minisplit and ERV… Then the basement minisplit and ERV… And then the compressor was connected to the lines. It was filled with nitrogen gas, and tested.…

Finish work begins!

Insulation installed!
We passed the plumbing and mechanical inspection on April 2, and the insulation subcontractor, A & E Insulation, was able to start right away! The basement concrete walls were spray foamed, and then batts added. Batts installed on the main floor and in the loft. Passed the insulation cover inspection on April 7, and ready…

Power and water now connected!
The milestones are now being accomplished in rapid succession! Water was connected on March 23rd! Then we passed the LNI inspection and on March 27, Potelco hooked up the power!

Mini-split lines installed!
Huge appreciation to Island Ductless volunteers Wayne Carter, Max Gibson, and Jason Leavitt! Once the daylight basement was framed, they came and installed the lines for the mini-split. We also thank Island Ductless for their generous discount!
