On October 1st, the trusses, the trusses were delivered.
Then, starting on October 6, we had a big week culminating in the roof being finished!
A huge thank you to Blake, Bob, Christian, Dave, George, Hart, Joe, Peter, Richard, Sean, Scott, Talen, and Klco Construction! Huge gratitude also to Gabbi and Karol who make the delicious lunches and treats that nourish the crew!
First, the gable ends were sheathed and wrapped, and the outriggers and fascia installed.
Then up they went!
Next, was installing the blocking, and setting the loft trusses in place.
Then, Klco Construction very generously donated a crew for a long day.
The scissors trusses were installed, blocks sheathed, the rest of the fascia installed, the roof was sheathed, and the underlayment installed.
WOW! We have a roof!
While some of the crew was working on the trusses, others were building the east deck. Progress everywhere!
