Another milestone on the way to being accomplished, with the exterior almost completed before we took a well-deserved holiday break. Huge appreciation to the generosity of dedicated home-raising volunteers Bob Dalton, Blake Willeford, Christian Gonzalez, Dave Wingen, George Julius, Hart Boyd, Joe Schwab, Peter Oakley, Scott Connor, and Steve Lusk. And also Gabbi Korrow and Karol White for the treats and lunches.
With the windows installed, next was the siding, window trim and battens. The south wall…

West wall, which included the porch…
And on the east wall, first the sliding glass doors on the main and ground floors were installed,
And then we got started on the siding and battens. Still a little more work to do… in January after our holiday break!
And last but not least, progress was made on the electrical and basement framing!
The exterior is now almost finished! We’ll return in January to finish the gables and east wall siding, and go full speed ahead on plumbing and electrical.
