Walls are painted!
After the mudding and taping of the drywall… We were able to paint! Now we’re ready to finish off the interior!

Drywall is up!
Another milestone! On April 23, the drywall was installed! Mudding and taping will begin the last week of April.

Passed more inspections!
Inside, we finished off the last details before drywall could be installed, and outside the drains for sewer and gutters were installed. We passed our insulation and plumbing inspection, and sewer inspections the week of April 14th. The insulation subcontractor, A & E Insulation, did everything except the sound proofing in the interior walls. Thank

More big milestones: We have power and insulation!
On Monday, April 7th, we passed the service and cover electrical inspection. Then, on Thursday, April 10th, Potelco came connected the power! We are energized! On Friday, April 11th, the insulators came! Now the house in insulated and ready for drywall, which will be happening the second half of April. What a week of spectacular

Final details before cover…
Caulking, plumbing, electrical, venting… so many details! A big thank you to Bob, Peter, Tim, George, Joe, Jim, Dave, and Jake for helping with this part of the project, and many other tasks!

Siding finished, and more!
The siding is now finished! We installed Hardie board with battens, and lapped the Hardie board for the gable ends. It’s beautiful! A huge thank you to the marvelous volunteer team of home-raisers: Bob Dalton, Richard Epstein, Peter Oakley, George Julius, Joe Schwab, Scott Connor, Tom Fisher, Jim Ellison, Dave Wingen, Hart Boyd and Jake.
